I was inspired by this article to make a fuel efficient vehicle for personal transport. After much research I think it will be easiest to build a reclining bicycle powered by a small bicycle motor like a Spartamet / Saxonette.

My goals:
– At least 1 liter to 100 kilometers.
– Pack a decent amount of gear. Enough to camp.
– Travel around 40km/h.
– Be safe and comfortable whilst traveling.
